Arthritis

Arthritis is a painful degenerative condition marked by inflammation of the joints, causing stiffness, pain, and reduced range of motion. There are varying degrees of arthritis, each with different prognoses and treatments. Osteoarthritis, the most common type of arthritis, worsens with age and is caused by wear and tear over the years. Rheumatoid arthritis occurs when the immune system attacks the joints as if they were foreign tissues.
