Lower Back Injuries

Back injuries are the most common cause of back pain. The lumbar is crucial to bodily function, but it is sensitive to sudden movement and force. When the lower back is strained or sprained, the soft tissue becomes inflamed. This inflammation causes pain and may cause muscle spasms. Most people will have some form of back problem at one time or another. Symptoms develop from everyday wear and tear, overuse, or injury. Back problems and injuries often occur after car accidents, during sports or recreational activities, work-related tasks, or home projects. Lumbar strain or sprain can be debilitating.
