Bursitis and tendinitis are common conditions that describe the inflammation of soft tissue around muscles, bones, and highly utilized joints. Bursitis occurs when the bursa in the joints becomes inflamed. Tendinitis occurs when there's inflammation in the tendons. Because bursa and tendons are often closely situated, inflammation that occurs in one may affect the other.

Depending on your pain level, our doctors may recommend rest, ice, and a pain reliever to help with discomfort.
