Tmj Pain

Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the connection between the bottom jaw and the skull. Pain in this joint comes from inflammation. The exact cause of TMJ disorder is often difficult to determine but may come from trauma, such as a car accident, sports injury, or slip-and-fall. Some people who have jaw pain tend to clench or grind their teeth.

Treatment Options

Treatments for TMJ pain can include medications, prescriptions, massage, myofascial release, and X-rays. We may require digital imaging to identify the main cause of the pain and recommend the best treatment.
